Founded in 1960, GUSICA is a state-level Apex Co-operative Organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage through handloom and handicrafts. As an authorized federation under the Cooperative Societies Act and the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries, Government of Gujarat, we proudly serve as a bridge between local artisans and the global market.

Our Mission
At GUSICA, our mission is to empower Gujarat’s artisans by providing them with a platform to showcase their exquisite craftsmanship and bring their unique creations to a wider audience. We are committed to preserving traditional handloom and handicraft techniques while adapting to contemporary market needs. With the support of ~400 societies and self-help groups, as well as ~40 rural and tribal artisans, GUSICA plays a vital role in uplifting their livelihoods through development programs and by procuring and promoting their products.
